Install SSL Certificate

Install a certificate you bought from a certificate authority (Sectigo, DigiCert, GoGetSSL…), for example an OV/EV or wildcard certificate. For free certificates use AutoSSL instead. Everything is checked before it goes live: the key must match, the domain must be covered and the certificate must be valid.

The key you generated together with the CSR. It is stored readable by root only.
